We love Android phones. That means we have a lot of them laying around, and when a hot new one like the Nexus 5 comes out, we can take our time and compare our favorites against it. You have seen how we think the G2 from LG and HTC's One match up to Google's new Nexus (the best smartphones 2014), and now it is time for my take on how the Moto X fares against the mighty Nexus.
All the same, Google-owned Motorola has also released its highly customisable smartphone, Moto X that is considered to be an arch rival of Google Nexus 5. With both handsets sporting their own pros and cons, here is a detailed comparison to see which smartphones wins the battle of supremacy.

Nexus 5 vs Moto X: The specs
The Nexus 5 looks quite good on paper, where the Moto X was at least prior to its release labelled a mid-range phone. As it turned out, the Motorola’s overall experience far outperformed what we expected from its specs and the smartphone is far from being just another mid-range Android device. To be fair, the LG-made Nexus 5 will likely also offer an exceptionally good use of unadulterated Android.
