From the start you will notice that the LG G Flex is like few other smartphones before it. Its 6-inch display is slightly curved, making the handset a striking, even ambitious, profile. Only whether you think this bowed construction is a pointless gimmick or, along with the Samsung Galaxy Round, a welcomed resurgence in a unique, specific and useful smartphone design, the device has plenty of different things going for it as well.
The G Flex does have its share of drawbacks though. Its 720p screen Is not as crisp as its competitors, its camera is mediocre, and the device's big and large size can prove unwieldy. And while it performs respectably, it does not quite have what it takes to surpass both the Galaxy Round or the current reigning king of phablet productivity, the Galaxy Note 3.
Talking about the design, LG G Flex comes in this curved unibody design with a non-removable back and battery, and features volume rocker and power key at the rear, like were seen on the LG G2. Also, the back has an elastic coating which will protect the smartphone from scratches and damages.
In terms of specs, the Korean version of the phone has been launched with a 6-inch 720p Curved P-OLED (Real RGB) display. On the software front, it runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with new and modern features like QTheater, Dual-Windows, Swing LockScreen, Face-Detection, Camera-timer and Urgent Call Alert along with some of the LG G2 like UX features specified KnockON, Guest Mode and Plug & Pop.
The smartphone is powered by a 2.26 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM 8974) processor with 450MHz Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM, with 32GB of internal memory. There's a 13 -megapixel rear camera and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. Other features in the phone include connectivity support for standard features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, 3G and LTE which could be based on a country’s network support, and houses a 3,500mAh battery which the company claims would run more than a full day of use. The smartphone has been launched in titan silver color.
